Join Our Whole Lives (OWL) Lifespan Sexuality Education facilitators Melissa Koch, Sandhya Purohit Caton and Lara Martinsen-Burrell in conversation.

OWL is a curriculum series written collaboratively by sexuality education experts from both the UCC and UU traditions. In 2014, in a desire to bring this curriculum to Decorah, the Decorah UU and Decorah UCC began a collaboration offering classes to the Decorah community in a secular presentation. Classes are resuming with new ideas and energy about how OWL can grow roots and take flight in our community.

Our Whole Lives nurtures and supports the three R’s of sexuality education:

• Respect, both for self and others
• Relationships, learning to build relationships with people of all genders, and any kind of family
• Responsibility for one’s own health, and the health of others.

There will be a short presentation, group discussion, as well as time to ask questions about the curriculum for all ages: K-1, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12, Young Adult, Adult, and Older Adult.

This is an invitation to all who are interested in learning more about OWL. There is free childcare in the adjacent space. ~Lara M-B
