American Sign Language: An Introduction

April is National Deaf History Month. Previously celebrated from March 13 to April 15, this observation’s dates have been changed to lessen its previous focus on schools for the Deaf and to ensure its historical lens encompasses the experiences of all Deaf people, particularly BIPOC Deaf people. As our own congregation observes National Deaf History Month, we will learn about American Sign Language (ASL) from Lee Pool, teacher for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing with Keystone Area Education Agency.

All are welcome to join us at Sunday Fellowship either in-person at the Lingonberry or remotely via Zoom. We have transitioned back to an every-Sunday service.
