Reimagining the Common Good: Taking Care of the Land that Feeds Us

As we “re-imagine the common good” in our own community, we examine the love of the land that sustains us. What drives local farmers to do this important work? Mike Bollinger and his wife Katie Prochaska raise about two and a half acres of outdoor vegetables and a half acre under greenhouse cover just inside the city limits of Decorah. Their River Root Farm serves grocery stores and restaurants in Decorah and other surrounding communities.
