Unnatural? Enough Already! Wo/men Interrupting Paul

with Jimmy Hoke, Visiting Assistant Professor of Religion at Luther College. Jimmy will give a talk that emerges at the intersections of feminism, queerness, and the Bible’s only condemnation of erotic expressions between women (Romans 1:18-32). Drawing from traditions within feminist biblical interpretation, Hoke will examine the impasses around interpretations of this passage and show how interruption works as an interpretive model to move beyond it.
