Saying Goodbye: Planning a Service of Remembrance

With Sue Otte, Annastacia Cowles, John Hall and Bill Musser. The Memorial Planning Committee will host this service using readings and music chosen for particular memorial services. On the following Tuesday, April 16, at 7:00 p.m. at the Lingonberry, you are invited to give more thought to this topic outside of the worship setting, as we share attitudes about death, do some writing about our own wishes, and share resources we have found useful. All are welcome.

Everyone is welcome at our Sunday morning gathering. We meet at The Lingonberry, 218 W. Water Street, with our service at 10:00, followed by our social time at 11:00.

Share-the-Plate – Our plate recipient for March-April is Friends of the Family, providing safe shelter, confidential services, and housing assistance to individuals in crisis due to homelessness, domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. To donate to the recipient, simply designate so on your check or offering envelope. Loose cash or undesignated envelopes in the offering plate go to Decorah UU.
